Saint John Bosco (Giovanni Melchiorre Bosco) was an Italian Catholic Priest who dedicated his life for the betterment and education of Street Children and other Disadvantaged Youth. He was a follower of Saint Francis de Sales and he founded the Society of St. Francis de Sales – commonly known as the Salesian Society or the Salesians of Don Bosco. Today the Salesians run numerous schools and learning institutions for youth and adults.
