Often when we are sick, we pray to the Lord to be healed. How great would it be, if we prayed to the Lord to give us the willpower to accept the suffering gracefully. When the Lord is with us, no sickness can trouble us. The Lord Almighty will comfort us and give us the strength to bear all pain.
“Lord Jesus, I surrender to you all my sicknesses and I praise you and thank you, because you will only permit the very best for me. Lord, may your will be done even in this sickness. Whatever Lord you want to achieve through this suffering, I want to completely cooperate with you.
Lord fill me with your Holy Spirit so that I may learn to accept all sufferings gracefully and offer it for the forgiveness of my sins. Lord give me the strength, courage and will power to endure all pain. Lord, sanctify me through this sickness so that I may live to glorify your name. Amen.”
