Abba, Father, I thank you for the Catholic Church and its sacraments through which you made me your child and gave me your Holy Spirit. Today, I confess my sins. Due to them I did not grow in my relationship with Jesus. So I have quenched your Spirit, rebelled against you and went about my own way, thinking of you, only when I was in trouble to fulfill my selfish needs or because I was in need of some material benefits.
Lord, today I have been convinced of my failures to grow in your likeness. I come before you with a broken heart to confess my sin of rejecting the Lordship. Father, true to your plan of salvation I believe in my heart and openly confess that Jesus Christ is the Lord. I wish to be a spirit filled Christian and sing your praises for ever. Thank you Jesus. Amen.
