Prayer for those Seeking to Conceive a Child

Let us pray to our dear Heavenly Mother for all those who wish to be blessed with children in their lives. The Blessed Virgin Mary is the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ and our heavenly mother too. Who can understand us better than our Heavenly Mother.

Mother of Christ, you were graced by God with the privilege of bearing our Divine Savior. You experienced the joys and challenges of being a parent. Your life was blessed with seeing Jesus grow from infancy and childhood, into his adult years of teaching a ministry. With St. Joseph, you created a home for your family to love and share together.

Please intercede before the God of all life, that (here mention names) may conceive a baby and raise healthy children, with whom they can share the Lord’s good gifts.

May their children honor them and You by lives of virtue and caring for others. May their home be holy and their family be blessed with health, happiness and abiding love. Amen.

Prayer to Our Lady during Times of Personal Illness

Here is a prayer to Our Blessed Mother seeking her powerful intercession during times of sickness. During illness, let us offer all our sufferings for the reparation of sins and salvation of souls. Let us unite our sufferings with those of our crucified Lord.

Blessed Mother, through the countless miracles attributed to your intercession, you have evidenced a generous and compassionate heart and a great love for the sick. Be with me during this time of ill health, and accompany me as I face sickness and infirmity. Help me to experience God’s healing power through your prayers, as well as my own.

Lead me to unite myself to the Cross of Jesus Christ, so that this suffering brings spiritual benefit to me and to others. May my bearing the cross of illness here on earth, prepare me for the eternal joys of perfect happiness and fullness of life whit God forever in heaven. Amen.

Prayer for the Health of An Expectant Mother and Her Unborn Child

Here is a prayer to our Blessed Mother seeking her intercession for the health and safety of a pregnant mother and the child in her womb. Let us pray for all pregnant women specially those who face the risk of losing their babies. May the Lord hear our prayers for the unborn children.

Humble Mary of Nazareth, you were chosen my God to bear within you our world’s greatest gift, the Savior of all humanity. I come to you now on behalf of (here mention name) who prays for the health and safety of the child that God has graced her to conceive.

Guard this life that God has created, and protect the mother God has chosen for this child. Let your gently hands, like that of a skilled physician, assist in her delivery so that this baby will know good health and lasting happiness.

May her child be favored with the grace of Holy Baptism, and grow to love our Lord Jesus Christ above all else in this world. Amen.
