Cancer - the deadly disease which has snatched many of our loved ones from us, is one of the most common diseases with which we are faced today. We need to pray to our Lord Jesus Christ for his mercy and compassion. We need to pray for the sufferings of all those who are afflicted by Cancer. May the Lord Almighty hear our prayers and heal the Cancer Patients. Here is a prayer for all the Cancer Afflicted.
O great Saint Peregrine, you who bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease, and were favored with the vision of Jesus Christ coming down from his cross to heal your affliction, ask of God and our Lady, the cure of these sick people whom we entrust to you.
(Pause here to silently recall the names of the sick for whom you are praying.)
Aided by your intercessions, we praise God and give thanks for his kindness and mercy. Amen
