Here is a beautiful Prayer seeking the intercession of Blessed Pope John Paul II

Oh Blessed Trinity, We thank you for having graced the Church with Pope John Paul II and for allowing the tenderness of your Fatherly care, the glory of the cross of Christ, and the splendor of the Holy Spirit, to shine through him.

Trusting fully in your infinite mercy and the maternal intercession of Mary, he has given us a living image of Jesus the Good Shepherd, and has shown us that holiness is the necessary measure of ordinary Christian life and is the way of achieving eternal communion with you.

Grant us by his intercession, and according to your will, the graces we implore, hoping that he will soon be numbered among your saints. Amen.

I praise and thank God for giving me the opportunity to see personally Pope John Paul II during his first visit in Manila in 1981. It was a great miracle because he passed by in front of me which was not the original plan. He was supposed to pass by infront of the huge crowd after the event in Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City. I was a grade 5 student, but at my young age, I really felt that God had rewarded me and I was so happy and blessed seeing him so close.

Truly he is a powerful intercessor, during his beatification, I ask him to help me and my husband to get a business. It was impossible for me to be given that chance, but with God’s grace through Blessed Pope John’s intercession, the business was granted to us.

Even in the midst of difficulties, I constantly pray to him, and surely, everything turned out solved in God’s perfect time.
Blessed Pope John really had a great part in my spiritual journey. May through his intercession, God will continuously grant me and my family the strength and courage we need, and abundance, peace and true happiness in life.

I feel blessed that I was able to see a saint in the making -Pope John Paul II, when he came to Manila in 1995 during the World Youth Day. I was in awe at his powerful charisma to have gathered millions of people especially the youth during that historic day. God’s love has truly emanated from him! I call him the saint of my youth whenever I ask for his intercession and I hope that he will not forget all the youth whom he personally blessed when he was still here.
