O My God, with a firm confidence I hope in Thee, that Thou wilt grant me, through the merits of Jesus Christ, the assistance of Thy grace, and that after my keeping my commandments, Thou wilt bestow on me life everlasting, according to Thy promises, Thou Who art almighty and Whose word is truth!
